Carl Ericson has worked either for an Idaho public entity or in their defense for most of his legal career. He spent six years as a Canyon County deputy prosecutor ultimately serving as Chief Civil Deputy. Carl also spent seventeen years as an insurance defense attorney in private practice. He has extensive knowledge in numerous areas of public entity law including employment, law enforcement, policies, contracts, and governance. ICRMP realizes that not every member has access to, or can afford, legal counsel. While not taking the place of a member’s attorney, Carl is available to provide legal guidance on a wide variety of topics.
