 Brent Shuck is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with nearly 17 years of experience in the Public Sector. Brent leads a dedicated team in managing and mitigating cybersecurity incidents. His extensive background in Information Technology Systems Administration and Network Administration equips him with a deep understanding of IT systems, which he leverages to enhance incident response and ongoing security engagements. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Administration and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). His expertise spans various critical areas, including Cyber Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Risk and Vulnerability Management, OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), and Third-Party/Vendor Posture Evaluation. Brent’s work is pivotal in sectors such as Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Healthcare. In his role, Brent excels in analyzing data to identify indicators of compromise, determining methods of network entry and exploitation, and coordinating response measures with technical teams. He is also a foundational member of the threat intelligence team, responsible for curating and disseminating actionable cybersecurity threat intelligence to a wide range of stakeholders.
