Executive Law Enforcement Leadership School (LE800)

This course is open to all sworn or non-sworn Command Level Supervisors, or above, that oversee jail operations inside the State of Idaho.

The POST certified course works in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Command School, focusing strictly on Jail Commander roles and liability.

Presented through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises, this 3-day course will provide students with principles and techniques that will help them become successful supervisors.

  • Inmate Rights
  • Constitutional Law
  • Federal/State Statutes
  • Coaching Jail Supervisors
  • Jail Operations/Contracts
  • Use of Force Inside the Jail
  • Civil/Criminal liability
  • Classification Programs

This course has been approved for 24 hours of POST training credit.

Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. At ICRMP, Chad trains law enforcement personnel with the highest level POST-certified training available to law enforcement and offers 30 state-wide certified classes. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
