Critical Incident Debrief/St. AL’s Prisoner Escape

This course is open to all sworn Patrol and Detention personnel in both Sheriff’s Offices and Police Departments.
This presentation is a critical law enforcement review of an Idaho prisoner transport escape, officer involved shooting, pursuit, and recapture of an IDOC inmate.
Attendees can expect a presentation of events that led up to the escape, officer responses during the violent escape, responding officer’s reactions and response, actions taken during the 36-hours following the escape, recapture, and lessons learned in the aftermath. Current case laws will be reviewed guiding transporting and response to such critical incidents.
