This course is open to all sworn Police Department and Sheriff’s Office personnel.

Attendees can expect both classroom discussion training where problem solving, and decision making will be discussed regarding riots/civil disobedience. Recent national cases will be reviewed, with both court findings and on body camera recordings discussed. State and Federal legal guidelines for 2026 will be given regarding this subject, and your policy guidelines will be compared.

  • Brower v Inyo County
  • Michigan v Chesternut
  • Brendlin v California
  • Florida v Bostick
  • Soldal v Cook County
