SUMMARY:Executive Leadership Civil Liability Update (LE800)
DESCRIPTION:Detailed Course Information: Link \nThis course is open to all sworn or non-sworn Command Level Supervisors\, or above\, in any division of Law Enforcement or related public service agency personnel. \nPresented through a combination of classroom lecture and discussion\, this 4-hour course will provide both executive and command level attendees with the Civil Liability legal updates that will aid them in making both law enforcement decisions and guiding their agency through the ever-changing civil liability judgements. \nTopics will include: \n\nEmployee Discipline\nEmployee Terminations\nHigh Risk Use of Force\nOfficer Involved Shootings\nVehicle Pursuits\nPolicy and Procedures\nCivil Liability\nFMLA/ADA Issues\n\n*This class qualifies for LE800 training hours for both Executive and Command Level certification hours. \nThis course has been approved for 4 hours of POST LE800 training credit. \nPRESENTED BY: Chad Sarmento ICRMP Law Enforcement Risk Manager \n\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		\n		\n			Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander\, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. At ICRMP\, Chad trains law enforcement personnel with the highest level POST-certified training available to law enforcement and offers 30 state-wide certified classes. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
