Recent national cases will be reviewed\, with both court findings and on body camera recordings discussed. Federal legal updates for 2022 will be given\, and your policy guidelines will be compared. \nThe following will be specifically discussed: \n\nScott v Smith (9th Cir.)\nGraham v Conner\nTennessee v Garner\nDe-escalation Considerations\nDeorle v Rutherford\nHeadwaters v Co. of Humbolt\nKopec v Tate\nDraper v Reynolds\nKuha v City of Minnetonka\n\nThis course has been approved for 4 hours of POST training credit. \nFor more information or to register\, please contact Chad Sarmento @ csarmento@icrmp.org \n\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		 \n		\n			Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander\, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
