DESCRIPTION:Detailed Course Information: Link \nHIGH RISK RESPONSE PROCEDURES/VEHICLE OPERATIONS \nThis course is open to all non-sworn positions for both Fire Departments/Ambulance Service Personnel. \nAttendees can expect a classroom discussion training\, where problem solving\, and decision making will be discussed. Responding to calls\, balancing of handling critical calls for service and case laws surrounding use of emergency lights/sirens for such calls. Federal legal updates for 2022 will be given\, and your policy guidelines will be compared. \nThe following will be specifically discussed: \n\nCivil Liability\nBrower v Inyo County\nDeliberate Indifference\nQualified Immunity\nPlumhoff v Rickard\nMcRaven v Sanders\nIdaho Code\nSummary Judgement\nScott v Harris\n\nThis course has been approved for 2-hours of POST training credit. \n\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		 \n		\n			Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander\, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. At ICRMP\, Chad trains law enforcement personnel with the highest level POST-certified training available to law enforcement and offers 30 state-wide certified classes. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
