DESCRIPTION:Detailed Course Information: Link \nThis course is open to all sworn or non-sworn government personnel\, in any division of Law Enforcement or related public service personnel. \nThe POST certified course has received EXCELLENT reviews from those who have attended it!! \nPresented through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises\, this course will provide attendees with principles and techniques that will help them become successful team members and supervisors. The presentation will focus on proper communication with peers and the public in both professional and legal ways. \nTopics will include: \n\nFederal employment law\nConsequences of bad behavior\nProper communication\nResponding to bad behavior\nBehaviors to guard against\nConflict resolution\nCivil liability\nReporting requirements\n\nThis course has been approved for 2 hours of POST training credit. \n\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		 \n		\n			Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander\, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. At ICRMP\, Chad trains law enforcement personnel with the highest level POST-certified training available to law enforcement and offers 30 state-wide certified classes. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
